A Note From the Maker
There isn't a factory behind Silky Zest.
Just me, a worktable, countless fragrance trials, paint-covered hands, and the quiet joy of making something beautiful from scratch.
Every candle you see here has been poured by me, from melting the good quality wax and blending each fragrance to placing the wick and finishing the label. Every trinket tray is cast, sanded, painted, and sealed by hand, one piece at a time.
Some days the studio smells like freshly brewed coffee. Other days it's blooming peonies, sweet vanilla, or rain-soaked forests. I never know what the room will smell like next, and honestly, that's one of my favourite parts.
Silky Zest didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a simple thought: the things we bring into our homes should feel personal. They should have character. They should make us pause for a moment, light a candle, clear a corner of the table, and enjoy the little rituals that often pass us by.
Working in small batches means no two pieces are ever completely identical. You might notice tiny differences in the wax, a brushstroke that wandered just a little, or subtle variations in colour. I don't see those as imperfections. They're quiet reminders that your piece wasn't made by a machine, it was made by someone who genuinely cared about every step.
When you choose something from Silky Zest, you're not just buying a candle or a tray. You're supporting a small home studio where every order is packed with excitement, every new fragrance is tested again and again, and every customer makes this dream feel a little more real.
Thank you for being here. I hope what I make finds a small place in your home and becomes part of your own story.
